Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offer Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti in exchange for Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva is reportedly still a top target for PSG this summer, who have been plotting a move for him since March.
The Portugal international has now finished the season – and it was another brilliant campaign from the 28-year-old. He was a key player for Pep Guardiola’s side, who claimed an historic Treble.
Speculation about his future will now undoubtedly crank right up. In recent weeks there have been claims about interest from Barcelona. But it seems PSG are the more likely destination for the former AS Monaco man.
According to Foot Mercato, In an attempt to lower Man City’s fee for Bernardo Silva, PSG have offered Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Under contract until June 2025, it is suggested that Manchester City are asking for at least €80m to part with Bernardo Silva.
He could be open to discussing a move to PSG, but it seems as if Pep Guardiola was not interested in getting goalkeeper Donnarumma or midfielder Verratti as part of the negotiations.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
