Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have asked PSG for midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery to be included in a deal for Bernardo Silva.
The 17-year-old is the jewel of Paris Saint-Germain’s youth system. The teenage midfield made 31 appearances in all competitions this 2022-23 season and scored two goals.
Bernardo Silva, who was instrumental in Manchester City’s Champions League winning campaign has been coy when questioned about his future, and according to French media, would be keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
RMC Sport reported on Wednesday that PSG has offered different players to lower the transfer fee for Silva. However, the French media outlet adds that the player Pep Guardiola’s side wants is not transferrable to the capital club.
According to the information, Manchester City wants Warren Zaire-Emery, as manager Pep Guardiola highly appreciates the young midfielder. However, PSG has no intention of parting ways with the talented teenager.
Manchester City isn’t alone in eyeing the young player. RMC Sport reported that Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are keen on Zaire-Emery, who has a contract with PSG until 2025.
