Bernardo Silva has reportedly informed friends that the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday could be his last game for Manchester City.

The 28-year-old was linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium last summer but ultimately decided to stay with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Now though, the midfielder has once again been mentioned with an exit from the Manchester club.

According to Alex Crook, in a recent report for talkSPORT, Bernardo Silva has informed friends that he is preparing to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer, and that the Champions League Final will be his last match for the Premier League champions.

The 28 year-old is in search of a fresh challenge after prospective transfers over the previous two years failed to materialise for the midfielder.

Since joining the Citizens back in the 2017 summer transfer window in a deal worth a reported fee of £43m, the Portuguese international has made 305 appearances for the club across all competitions.

In those appearances, Silva has scored 55 goals, provided 59 assists and won numerous trophies including five Premier League titles.

This season has seen the 28-year-old feature in all but six of City’s matches, featuring in a variety of different positions, highlighting his prominence and usefulness for the team.

The Champions League Final on Saturday could also be the last Manchester City match for Ilkay Gundogan, with the club captain yet to agree a new deal to extend his stay at the Etihad Stadium beyond the current campaign.

Defender Aymeric Laporte could also depart the club this summer, with interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa in the Spain centre-back.
