Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly been the next player lined up with a move to Saudi Arabia.
The Manchester City midfielder is out of contract at the Etihad this summer and Barcelona and Arsenal have been linked.
However, after moves for the likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante and Wilfried Zaha, Gundogan could be another who receives a big-money offer to go to the Gulf State.
The Evening Standard claims that Gundogan could be lined up as the Public Investment Fund eyes up many high-profile players to play in the national league.
After the PIF acquired Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli in the past week, those four clubs could see some of the biggest names in world football joining.
Despite the speculation, Gundogan remains committed to staying quiet about his future until after Saturday’s Champions League final against Inter Milan.
The German midfielder was Man City’s hero in Saturday’s FA Cup final success, scoring both goals in their 2-1 win over local rivals Manchester United.
ElsewҺeгe, Manchester City are reportedly poised to firm up their interest in RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol this summer.
The Croatian has emerged in recent months as one of the most highly-rated defenders in football following on from his performances at the 2022 World Cup.
Gvardiol has a clause in his contract worth just shy of £100m that is due to kick in from 2024. But, as revealed by 90min this summer, Leipzig are ready to take less than the figure to facilitate a move.
Gvardiol, 21, has made 41 appearances across all competitions for Leipzig this term, and was also in fine form for Croatia as they finished third at the World Cup in Qatar last year.
