Man City fan and Oasis front man Liam Gallagher has one word for West Ham after denting Arsenal’s title bid.
West Ham found themselves 2-0 down within 10 minutes of their clash with Premier League leaders Arsenal but clawed their way back to secure a 2-2 draw.
A penalty won by Lucas Paqueta was coolly converted by Said Benrahma before the break and the Hammers had other chances to get level by half-time.
That’s despite at one stage looking like lambs to the slaughter as the Gunners started like balls out of a cannon.
Moments into the second half Arsenal were awarded a penalty which their Starboy Bukayo Saka put about 10 feet wide of the West Ham goal.
That lifted the world’s largest cantilevered roof off the London Stadium and West Ham took momentum before equalising in superb style through Jarrod Bowen on 54 minutes.
West Ham defended manfully once again and a point was the minimum their graft and determination deserved.
The result feels like a win for West Ham in the battle to survive.
For Arsenal it will feel like a defeat and is yet another blow to their title chances with Manchester City now very much in the box seat.
And Man City fan Liam Gallagher has one word for West Ham after denting Arsenal’s title bid.
The Oasis frontman is a huge Man City fanatic and was obviously watching the West Ham vs Arsenal clash hoping for a favour from the Hammers.
David Moyes’ side delivered to set up an even more intriguing run-in when it comes to the title race as well as taking a small step towards safety themselves.
When asked for his thoughts on West Ham after they held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw, Gallagher simply said: “Bravo” when speaking on Twitter.
Bravo

Attentions now turn to Europe for West Ham and Man City with games against Gent and Bayern Munich respectively this week.
For Arsenal they must look to get back to winning ways – and do West Ham a favour in the process – when they welcome rock bottom Southampton to the Emirates on Friday night.
