‘I’d love to play in Spain’: Manchester City star drops massive transfer hint

Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish has admitted that he one day wants to play in Spain, with the England international also open to moving to America to play in the MLS.

Grealish joined City last summer in a British-record transfer deal worth £100m, with the former Aston Villa captain signing a contract worth £300,000-a-week as the England winger looks to finally be settled at the Etihad Stadium after moving to Manchester.

The winger has been a regular for Pep Guardiola this season in both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League, with Grealish also scoring for England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the Three Lions’ 6-2 group stage win against Iran.

Indeed, whilst it might be some time before Grealish leaves City, the winger has open up about his future giving us a good idea of where he wants to play in the future, with a move to La Liga for Real Madrid or FC Barcelona a possibility in the years to come.

In an interview with Men’s Health, the 27-year-old superstar revealed that he is open to leave England one day presumably after his playing days at City, with Grealish saying when asked about his future: “I have places that I’d love to play. I’d love to play in Spain one day. I’d love to play in the US. I have a lot of stuff I’d like to do.”

These Grealish’s comments were shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“He needs to restart his career. Love the guy but City was the wrong move, he can be the main man somewhere else with a different style of play. Could also see him return to the PL down the line”
