Manchester City have received a huge boost as new details have emerged from Spain about Real Madrid’s interest Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The 19-year-old has become one the hottest young prospects on the continent since moving to Dortmund in 2020 from Birmingham City. Since then, he has been a regular for both club and country.
The midfielder has played in 22 games so far this season in all competitions, scoring nine goals and registering another three assists in the process. Graham Potter could do with someone like him in his midfield.
Bellingham is all set to spark a major bidding war in the summer of 2023, with many top clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea vying for his signature from Borussia Dortmund.
It is claimed that Borussia Dortmund will demand a price of around £130m million to sell Bellingham in the summer.
According to Spanish news outlet Sport (h/t Daily Mail), Real Madrid are unwilling to meet the valuation for Jude Bellingham but are still very keen on bringing the Englishman to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bellingham is widely expected to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer and this will come as great news to Manchester City and other Premier League clubs interested in the midfielder.
