‘Terrible take’ – Man City fans react as Jude Bellingham advised to join Utd with Jack Grealish related warning

Jude Bellingham has been told to choose Manchester United over Manchester City if given the option of either transfer in the future.

Since leaving Birmingham for Dortmund, he has clocked up well over 100 appearances – and also has 13 goals to his name, including six in just 20 Champions League games.

And after establishing himself in the England set-up too, it’s incredible to think he is still only 19 years of age. As such, interest in Bellingham appears to be growing by the day.

The question is, where will Bellingham end up? No doubt all of Europe’s big players will be pushing hard to acquire the talented teenager, though getting the deal over the line is going to be far easier said than done.

Manchester City and United have both been linked with the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, along with the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Despite the links to City and Liverpool, former England goalkeeper Ben Foster reckons it is a move to Manchester United that would suit Bellingham best.

“For me personally, I would love to see him go to Manchester United,” Foster told his YouTube channel.

“I think he would thrive more at Manchester United, he’d have more responsibility and I think he would enjoy it there more.”

Assessing a possible move across Manchester to the Etihad, Foster has issued Bellingham a ‘Jack Grealish-style warning’.

“I think he would know he’s the main man. I worry that if he went to a club like Man City he might just sort of [end up] a little like Jack Grealish.

“He would just fade a little bit at Manchester City. So I would love him at Manchester United, I think he would smash it.”

These Ben Foster’s comments shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.
