Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report of the club’s interest in VfB Stuttgart left-back, Borna Sosa.

The former Dinamo Zagreb man joined Stuttgart in 2018 and has since then gone on to establish himself as one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga. An attacking left-back, Sosa is adept at bombing forward and can even play as a left-midfielder.

The 24-year-old Croatian has played 30 games for the Bundesliga club this season across all competitions and has scored two goals and provided nine assists. Such numbers are extraordinary for a defender and showcase his attacking nous.

According to Bild as translated and relayed by GGFN, Manchester City have shown interest in VfB Stuttgart left-back, Borna Sosa.

It’s stated that the Croatia international would be allowed to leave for between €20m and €25m despite three-years remaining on his current deal.

Sosa is 24, and he comes at an age where he is neither too young nor too old. He could be the perfect player for Pep Guardiola with his abilities and could turn out to be an important signing for Man City.

It remains to be seen what happens with the future of Borna Sosa. Manchester City are looking to sign the player, but it will definitely not be easy as both Bayern Munich and Barcelona are also interested in the player.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from Man City fans.
