Lots of Manchester City fans have reacted on Twitter to a video posted on the official club account showing the teams’s pre-season preparations.
Pep Guardiola’s men face Club America in the early hours of Thursday at Houston’s NRG Stadium, before our attentions turn to a clash with Bayern Munich at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field.
With City’s season first competitive fixture of the campaign – a Community Shield showdown with Liverpool – just two weeks away, preparations for 2022/23 are in full swing.
New signings Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez, Kalvin Phillips and Stefan Ortega could all play their first minutes in Manchester City colours against Club America.
In footage posted by the club’s official Twitter account, the likes of Haaland and Alvarez showed no mercy in front of goal, slotting past a helpless Ederson on numerous occasions.
At one stage, the Brazil international looked a tad stressed as he watched the ball nestle into the back of the net, time and time again.
