‘Noooo’, ‘Not another one’, ‘This is getting ridiculous’ – Many fans react as Man City youngster looking for exit ‘in friendly way’

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Yan Couto has told Txiki Begiristain he wants to leave the club and has been looking for exit ‘in friendly way’.

It’s now been two years since Manchester City signed Yan Couto from Coritiba. Despite spending €6m to take him from Brazil, Pep Guardiola’s side never used him, having loaned the fullback to Girona and Braga in the past couple of seasons.

This is the reason, according to Torcedores as relayed by Sport Witness, the Brazilian fullback would like to leave the club, and already shared his intention with Txiki Begiristain.

Torcedores claims that Yan Couto is focused on leaving Man City ‘in a friendly way’ as there is no expectation from the player to be used by Pep Guardiola and there is ‘dissatisfaction’ at being loaned twice.

Couto’s idea is to join a club who can ‘fight for titles’. He has been offered to Flamengo, but is also drawing interest from Fiorentina, Galatasaray, Getafe and Lille.

As per the report, with the player willing to be closer to his family in Brazil and the national team, a move to the Rio de Janeiro side is said to be ‘the best alternative’ in this scenario, and it’s now up for the red and black side to get in touch with Manchester City.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Well, it’s what it’s. He has potential, and I know this news would be used as bullets by some people, but if he is convinced to go, why not.
