Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have would not consider selling Nathan Ake this summer without having a replacement lined up.
It was recently reported that the Dutch international is high up on Thomas Tuchel’s transfer wish list this summer, as the Stamford Bridge club look to strengthen at the back.
In addition, another claim was made about how Manchester City had informed the player that he is free to depart the Etihad Stadium, should the right proposal be made.
According to Manchester Evening News’, Simon Bajkowski, Manchester City have no current intention to sell Nathan Ake, and would not consider selling him this summer without having a replacement lined up.
Bajkowski then claims that it would take more than £50M from Chelsea for Man City to even consider looking for a defender to allow Nathan Ake to leave this summer.
The report mentions Pep Guardiola has a ‘general rule’ that any players who want to leave the club can do, but only if an ‘acceptable’ offer arrives on the table.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Happy with this. Would only sell him for £60+ million, good luck finding a 4th choice left footed centre back as good as him if he leaves”
