Manchester City look set to reveal their 2022/23 home shirt on Thursday as the Blues prepare for a tense title decider.
Puma has once again produce City’s kits next season after this year’s offerings were met with mixed reviews from supporters.
About a month ago, leaked images from a photo shoot in Manchester city center revealed which was quickly followed by an image of the home shirt modeled by Jack Grealish and Phil Foden
The image shows a shirt based on the classic City colors of the 1960s and 1970s, when the club’s traditional sky blue color was combined with chestnut details and piping all over the kit.
The home shirt will use a combination of both the club’s traditional sky blue as the predominant colour, paired with maroon trims and detailing.
On Monday morning PUMA published a video on Twitter that teased the release of City’s 2022/23 home shirt.
The video featured archive footage of City legend Colin Bell, seemingly confirming the speculation that the new kit will pay tribute to The King .
The accompanying video shows a compilation of incredible goals from the late Colin Bell and ended with the date 19/05/22, the expected release date of the new shirt.
We are likely to get more details on the kit on the actual release day, but If images leaked online are anything to go by, then the new strip is going to be a stunner.
