‘We don’t need more CBs’, ‘rather spend more money in a quality LB’ – Some Man City fans react as Pep Guardiola ‘keeping an eye’ on €20m-rated Brazilian defender

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is planning to send a scout to Torino vs Inter this weekend to watch over Brazilian centre-back, Gleison Bremer.

The 24-year-old only recently extended his contract with the Serie A until 2024. But that has not stopped speculation over a potential exit come the end of the season.

Bremer is believed to be learning English at a private institute in Turin, leading to further speculation that he could be bound for the Premier League this summer.

According to Tuttosport as relayed by Sport Witness, ‘everyone is crazy’ for Bremer, and there is a ‘desire’ in England and Italy to get their hands on him as soon as possible, with Man City one of the ‘many admirers’ of the Torino defender.

The report claims Pep Guardiola is ‘keeping an eye’ on the €20m-rated defender and plans to send a scout to this weekend’s clash to get a closer look at him.
