Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club could decide to let Gabriel Jesus go for a ‘suitable offer’, as Juventus continue to monitor the Brazilian forward.
Gabriel Jesus, who isn’t commanding a regular starting place under Pep Guardiola, has been linked with a move away from Manchester City, as Juventus are one club showing an interest.
The €60m-rated star has less than 18 months on his contract, and with no sign of a new contract, he could be on his way out Manchester City this summer.
Tutto Juve claimed recently that Juventus, who showed interest in Gabriel Jesus last summer, are ‘willing to repeat the interest’, as long as the transfer fee is ‘not higher than €30m’.
According to the latest information from Journalist Rudy Galetti as relayed by Sport Witness, Juventus ‘continue to monitor’ the Brazilian, whose contract with the Premier League club runs until 2023.
With City paying £14m to sign Julian Alvarez from River Plate in January, who according to Pep Guardiola, is joining the club this summer, Galetti claims the club could end up letting Jesus leaves in case of a ‘suitable offer’ from the interested sides.
However, it’s claimed that before going for Jesus, Juventus will try to get the signing of Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid, but that would only happen in case of a discount.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.
“Am i the only person that thinks he’s been doing very decent whenever he starts, especially if we get a striker in the summer, he could really excel as he gives something different on the right wing with his crossing. Shouldnt sell him unless he wants to leave.”

“That’s kinda how I feel too but I’d probably “settle” for somewhere in the £55-60m range and be ok with it.”

Should Pep Guardiola Let Him Go?
It could be the right choice on Man City’s part to offload the Brazilian, especially knowing the fact that the club are in contention to sign a top striker like Harry Kane or Erling Haaland in the summer.
Jesus’ exit, to that end, could go a long way in freeing up space in the attacking department while giving Guardiola a financial injection as the Catalan looks to bring in some talented players for the new season.
