Italian super agent Mino Raiola has named Manchester City as one of the clubs Erling Haaland could join once he leaves Borussia Dortmund.

The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market since making his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg a couple of years ago.

Haaland, who remains under contract with the Black and Yellow until 2024, has already netted 17 goals in 13 appearances for Dortmund this term despite injury concerns.

Such remarkable progress in Germany has invariably put the Norwegian goal machine on the radars of many European football clubs, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid among his suitors.

It has been public knowledge for some time that the 21-year-old has a release clause that allows him to depart Dortmund from this coming summer.

The actual fee needed to active said release clause is not 100 per cent confirmed at present, but it is suggested to be between €75-100m.

As per German outlet Sport, Raiola has reeled off a list of potential suitors for Haaland, who is expected to move in the summer.

Raiola said of Haaland: “He will take the next step. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City – these are the big clubs he can go to.

“City has won the championship five times in recent years, significantly more than United.

“We all knew, including Borussia Dortmund, that the time will come. When? Maybe this summer, maybe next. But there is a big chance he‘ll leave this summer.“
