Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland could cost an eye-watering £254million, according to agent Volker Struth, who currently represents both Toni Kroos and Chelsea forward, Timo Werner.
The Borussia Dortmund’s striker is reportedly Pep Guardiola’s ‘primary striker target’ as he looks for a new No 9 after the departure of Sergio Aguero last summer.
The Norwegian has become one of the most sought-after players in the transfer market since making his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg a couple of years ago.
Haaland, who remains under contract with the Black and Yellow until 2024, has already netted 13 goals in 10 appearances for Dortmund this term despite injury concerns.
Such remarkable progress in Germany has invariably put the Norwegian goal machine on the radars of many European football clubs, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid among his suitors.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga outfit in the summer of 2022, when his €75m (£64.39m) release clause becomes active.
However, According to agent Struth as reported by Manchester Evening News, the transfer would exceed the £250million mark and could possibly reach £300 million pounds.
Speaking exclusively to COPE, Struth said: ”Haaland has a release clause. The entire package with five-year salary and commission for the agent will probably be on the border of 250 to 300 million euros.”
”Ten percent more or less will not be what will lead him to make a decision, he wants to win titles.”
