Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update of the club’s interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic as Harry Kane’s alternative.
City are in the market for a new striker this summer with their priority remaining Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane but the club are prepared to walkaway from the deal if Spurs do not lower their asking price.
Pep Guardiola is certainly aware that the club needs to recruit a striker this summer given his side’s struggles in front of goal, and reports have surfaced suggesting that Vlahovic has now become the ‘primary objective’ for the Citizens.
Journalist Enzo Bucchioni as relayed by Sport Witness claims City’s interest in the Fiorentina star emerged after they realised it’s too difficult to take Kane away from the north London club.
According to Gazzetta_it via Guillaumemp Man City have an €80M proposal on the table for Fiorentina striker, and already have a ‘verbal agreement’ with the player and his agent’
The 21-year-old striker was sensational for Fiorentina last season. Despite his tender age, he amassed an enormous 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.

If we end up buying this guy It’s done for Kane’s hopes and dream off winning trophies until he finishes that contract and then maybe someone might get him.
