Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Portuguese side Braga are interested in a deal for Yan Couto.
The 19-year-old Brazilian is yet to make a first-team appearance for Man City; the youngster spent last season on loan at Spanish club Girona and made 30 appearances, scoring twice and then assisting five time for the Liga2 side.
Manchester City are keen on getting the player, who is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2025, more first team football.
With Cancelo and Walker ahead of him at City, it is highly unlikely that Pep Guardiola will see him as a first-team option for a couple of seasons at least.
But the Brazilian right-back is still considering his options despite Celtic making their interest known several weeks ago.
According to Sky Sports, Braga want to offer the youngster , who is still undecided about a loan move to Celtic despite his VIP treatment at Parkhead, the opportunity to play first-team football.
The 19-year-old defender was in attendance at Celtic Park for the win against FK Jablonec on Thursday and it appeared that a deal would be forthcoming; however, the player appears to have hesitated in agreeing to come to Glasgow.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
