Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have decided on which striker they want most out of Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane.
The premier league champions are still in the market for a new striker with less than a week left for the transfer Window to come to an end.
They have not given up on Harry Kane despite Spurs refusing all approaches from City so far this summer for the England captain, and had made it clear to the Premier League champions that he would not be allowed to move.
With just few days remaining in the transfer window, Levy is determined not to be forced into selling Kane to Manchester City, who are preparing a final bid for the player.
Manchester City could be forced to turn to other targets if they cannot convince Levy to sell Kane before next Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
There is also recent talk of a big-money swoop for Ronaldo with the Juventus star seemingly unsettled in Turin.
However, according to Goal, Harry Kane remains Man City’s top target, who are expected to press ahead with their move for the Spurs striker despite Daniel Levy insisting that he is not for sale.
The report adds that Ronaldo is one of a number of forwards suggested to City, but the club’s focus is still squarely on Kane.
