Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Harry Kane is still optimistic that a move to the Etihad will materialise before the end of the transfer window.
City have just over two weeks to complete the deal before the transfer window shuts on Aug. 31, and there are plans to test Spurs’ resolve to keep the England captain.
Talks between the two clubs over Kane have stalled with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy asking for £160million, while City are yet to improve on their initial £100million bid earlier in the summer.
Kane was left out of squad as Spurs beat City 1-0, but Nuno Espirito Santo insists striker will remain at club and play once he is fully fit.
According to the Telegraph, Kane is still hopeful of signing for Man City despite current side Tottenham’s impressive performance and result on Sunday.
The report claims the England International remains ‘determined’ to secure the move t, but has also informed Tottenham that he is available to play and has no intention of refusing to co-operate because he understands a deal might not be struck.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
He’s been determined for the past 3 weeks but nothing has happened

If he was that determined he’d do what Mahrez, Van Dijk, Sterling, Coutinho etc done and force it

City should bid again fast and if there is no positive impact then we move on fast. We can’t rely on only Kane ever since the transfer window was opened.
