Manchester City fans have been expressing their dismay after an injury update arrived about Kevin De Bruyne on Friday.
The Belgian returned back to the squad still carrying an injury from the European Championship, and didn’t manage a full training session with the squad in the two weeks before the season began.
Despite that, he came on for the final ten minutes against Tottenham as Pep Guardiola sought for his team to get back into the game.
Pep Guardiola has today confirmed Kevin De Bruyne could not train for Manchester City ahead of the game against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
“Kevin still has a little problem with his ankle so we will see. We’ll see tomorrow if he is able to play,” Guardiola said about the fitness of the 30 year-old.
On social media, the update on De Bruyne came as a crushing blow to supporters

Kevin is finished physically. Extending his contract at those wages was a waste.
