Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to yet another update of the club’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
City have not given up on Harry Kane and will continue to push Tottenham Hotspur to sell their prized asset before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Spurs have refused all approaches from City so far this summer for the England captain, and they had hoped that their unrelenting stance had made it clear to the Premier League champions that Kane would not be allowed to move.
Finally back in the Tottenham squad after his pre-season no show, the England international made his first appearance of the season on Sunday, featuring during the closing stages as Spurs edged out Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
But will he ultimately complete his own big-money switch at the end of this high-profile transfer saga?
The defending premier league champions could be forced to turn to other targets if they cannot convince Levy to sell Kane before next Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
With just eight more days remaining in the transfer window, Levy is determined not to be forced into selling Kane to Manchester City, who are preparing a final bid for the player.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is determined not to be forced into selling Harry Kane to Manchester City this summer and could even reject an offer that is close to £150m.
The report adds that With three years remaining on his six-year deal, Kane will be in a better position to try to leave Spurs next summer. But there are fears Man City could switch attention to Erling Haaland next summer and that Kane could have missed out on his big move.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

How can you destroy a player's ambition whose is to win trophies? 28 years old and he's not won a single trophy in his life and has few years left in his contract. This man has no heart. He's stone cold.

Kane got nobody to blame but himself signed a new deal knowing levy is a bell end and didn’t get a release clause put in. Serves him right for using his brother as an agent aswel who’s clueless.
