Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Heerenveen have ‘made contact’ with the club to discuss a loan move for winger Filip Stevanovic.
The Serbian winger, who was signed from Partizan for around €8.5m in January this year, spent the last six months on loan back at the Serbian professional football club.
According to Voetbal International as relayed by Sport Witness, Heerenveen are eyeing up a move for Manchester City talent and are already in discussing a loan deal for the youngster.
The report claims Heerenveen are looking to add to their attacking options this summer, and Stevanovic has been in their ‘sights for some time now’.
Despite being 18, he has already managed 72 matches ‘at the highest level’ playing in the Serbian league and Europa League.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.

I bet there should be a clause indicating the minimum games a player starts. No need to take a loan for reserve use. Hate it when a player out for first team experience gets 2 starts and 7substitute appearances
