Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club has set Harry Kane transfer limit as the England captain returns from Euro 2020.
The Premier League champions are in the market for a forward to replace Sergio Agüero, who left the club after a ten-year spell in Manchester and Harry Kane has been their top target in the ongoing transfer window.
The Premier League champions are thought to be have made a £100m offer for the England captain but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reluctant to part ways with Kane this summer and has slapped a staggering £150m price tag on the marksman’s head to fend off potential suitors.
City, who have already had a bid for the striker rebuffed are reportedly expected to return with another bid now that the European Championship is over.
According to The Athletic, Manchester City are reportedly willing to up their bid for England captain Harry Kane from the £100million they offered earlier in the summer.
The report however suggest that it’s less clear if the Cityzens would go as high as £150M as Tottenham are believed to be holding out for an astronomical fee for the England striker, who still has three years left on his current deal.
The report adds that the premier league champions are ‘willing to bide their time’ in the next few weeks for Kane, but there is a feeling that this summer presents a very small window during which they can sign the striker.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.

Haaland won't be just 150

That would be an absurd to pay this price which might be exactly the amount for Haaland!

Just go for Haaland

I can’t put into words how much of a mistake it would be to spend this much money in pursuit of Kane without trying to tempt Haaland

We wouldnt. We told spurs we are willing to negotiate but only if they lowered their asking price of 150M
