Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report of the club’s interest in Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
Zielinski, who is a technically gifted midfielder, has been a part of the Napoli side since 2016 when he joined the club from Udinese. He has been starring in Serie A for years now, closing in on 250 appearances for the Partenopei and has scored 32 goals.
Zielinski, who is valued by Transfermarkt at €50million, is believed to be available in the market this summer, with Arsenal among the clubs keeping a close eye on the Napoli playmaker who is facing an uncertain future at the club.
According to the information of Tuttosport this week as relayed by City Xtra, City are the ‘most insistent’ of the clubs interested in Napoli’s Piotr Zieliński, with manager Pep Guardiola reportedly giving Etihad officials a ‘mandate’ to sign the 27-year-old.

Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis won’t sell players on the cheap, could be willing to do business if a good offer comes on the way. But whether they may be be willing to do business with Manchester City remaining to be seen as the relationship between the two clubs collapsed due to Jorginho’s failed transfer three years ago.
