Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is ready to block Harry Kane‘s attempted move to the Etihad this summer.
City have been heavily linked with a move for the Spurs striker, with Pep Guardiola reportedly making the England International his No.1 summer transfer priority.
Man City are rumoured to be one of the frontrunners for Kane’s signature, and the Premier League champions are thought to be readying a £100m take-it-or-leave-it offer for the England captain.
However, The Telegraph reports that Levy is still reluctant to allow Kane to depart, and he is set to stand firm on his £150m stance.
The report adds that the Cityzens are not prepared to be drawn into a protracted transfer saga up until the end of the transfer window, and they could end their interest there and then if a bid of £100m is rejected.
The news was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
Keep him, utterly unconvinced by the price tags discussed

If he’s asking silly prices like 110m+ then let’s cut our loss and venture elsewhere

leave him then, idc. Give Lukaku a ring and see if he wants to change his mind, then try and get Haaland, then settle for either Joao Felix, Isak or Andre Silva

Spurs just hold Kane as a hostage like Barca hold Messi.

Dude look somewhere else honestly tired of this Harry Kane to man city saga

This is ridiculous. The player wants to go. It’ll be interesting to see City’s next move
