Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Haaland has broken his silence for the first time publicly on his future while away on international duty with Norway.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a big-money summer move, with Manchester City among several teams interested in the striker.
Despite Dortmund’s struggles this season, Haaland has scored 33 times in 31 matches in all competition. He recently became the youngest player to score 20 times in the Champions League.
With uncertainty over the future of record goalscorer Sergio Aguero, City are expected to look for a new centre-forward in the summer as the Norwegian striker has been Identify as the perfect replacement for the Argentinian.
Haaland, who recently fuelled speculation about his happiness at Dortmund, has remained coy over a potential move in the summer by pointing out he still has a lengthy contract with the German Club.
While on international duty with Norway in Spain Haaland said as per quotes relayed by El Partidazo de COPE: “I still have three years left on my contract with Dortmund and I am not worried about the rumours.”
Unsurprisingly, this has got plenty of Man City fans talking, and it seems there is a consensus that these quotes means the Borussia Dortmund star – whose side will face Dortmund in the next round of the Champions League – may seek a move.
Here is a look at some of the reaction to Haaland’s recent comments.

There is no way this is happening, of course I don’t know, but I think we may be setting ourselves for huge disappointment on this one…
