Some Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims are monitoring Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has impressed in his three seasons in the Bundesliga with Gladbach which have caught the eye of several European clubs and is also a regular for the Switzerland national side.
According to Daily Mail, Manchester City have continued to monitor the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder this season after making enquiries about him last summer.
Pep Guardiola is said to be reportedly keen on replacing Fernandinho at the end of the season as the Brazilian comes towards the end of his career.
The €40m-rated star is quickly earning the reputation as one of the Bundesliga’s best defensive midfielders with his strength, athleticism, aerial ability combined with an excellent array of passing and a great footballing mind, which are the skills needed to do the job that Fernandinho does.
The Cityzens have also been linked with Ismael Bennacer, Mahmoud Dahoud, Manuel Locatelli, Adrien Rabiot and Douglas Luiz as potential replacements for the Brazilian.
