‘Hoping he stays’ – Man City fans reacts as Aguero ready for salary reduction to play alongside Messi

Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on twitter, which relayed a report that claims Sergio Aguero is ready for a salary reduction to play alongside Messi Lionel.

With the City’s all-time record goalscorer’s current deal at the Etihad due to expire next June, his future has been the subject of speculation recently, with Inter Milan and Barcelona reportedly interested in signing the striker.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sergio Aguero wants to play alongside his Argentinian teammate, Lionel Messi, at the Camp Nou.

The report claims that the the Man City Legend would be ‘happy’ to sign for Barcelona, and is aware that he would have to lower his wages, but in return has requested a signing bonus.

Aguero is a City legend and can leave on his own terms. I wish we could get something for him but if he does leave I wish him all the best.

Yes but for free will go anyway to Barça, PSG, etc..He doesn’t want to renew his contract and City didn’t talk with him about it so, of course he will go for free. I knew time ago men. Always I said, if Laporta win the presidential election, Messi🇦🇷 renewing, Agüero🇦🇷 to Barça.
