Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne could make his return from injury at Goodison Park vs Everton on Wednesday.
The Belgian playmaker has been nursing a hamstring injury, which he picked up in City 2-0 win over Aston Villa on January 20th.
The the Man City captain has returned to full training and is feeling “much, much better,” Pep Guardiola said Tuesday, adding that De Bruyne will be part of the squad making the short journey to Goodison Park.
“He travels with us,” Guardiola replied when asked how long City fans could expect to wait before seeing him back in action.
With the return of De Bruyne, Guardiola has a potential selection headache for the upcoming games. His absence was not felt since then- the Cityzens have won all seven games since then, with midfielder Ilkay Gundogan and Foden in red hot form.
Despite De Bruyne hasn’t yet found his goalscoring form this season, he has still manage has racked up ten assists in the league campaign, with only Harry Kane assisting more than him.
His return to fitness will be a massive boost to Manchester City’s premier league tittle challenge as the Champions league.
Man City fans are happy to know their key man is back with the squad. Here’s how some fans reacted to the news on Twitter.

I would play Bernardo and Foden in the Midfield with Rodri. Front 3 of Sterling Jesus Torres. Please don’t risk Kev let’s save him at least till Arsenal or champions league!! Come on city!!!!
