Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Real Madrid are interested in bringing Aymeric Laporte to the Bernabeu during this summer’s transfer window.
The Frenchman had been an automatic choice since signing in January 2018 before a poor display in the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham in mid-November allowed Stones to re-establish himself in the XI, alongside Dias.
Even though The €60m-rated defender has started three of his side’s last four Premier League matches, he is still behind Ruben Dias and John Stones in the pecking order when it comes to the centre-back spots at the Etihad Stadium.
According to the Daily Star, Laporte has been identified by Zinedine Zidane’s side as a potential arrival, with the 26-year-old losing his spot in City’s first XI.
Bayern Munich’s David Alaba and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, have also been reportedly linked with moves to the Spanish capital this summer. with the futures of both Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane unclear.
The french international, who was only handed a start in Saturday’s game against Tottenham because of illness to Ruben Dias has made just 14 appearances in all competitions in 2020-21.

Pep showed trust in him today in big game with Dias on bench this will give Laporte encouragement he still has a lot to give to this city side even with stones and Dias here they can all play to

Even if this is true which I doubt it Laporte still has 5 years left on his contract and Real Madrid cannot afford him especially if they are trying to get Mbappe

Based on Maguire’s value of £85 million, can we start the bidding at £200 million?
