Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Angelino is on the verge of permanently joining RB Leipzig in Germany.
Having failed to nail down a place in City first team under Pep Guardiola, the fleet-footed Spanish loanee is now lighting up Leipzig under their young coach Julian Nagelsmann.
The on-loan City man has been in fine form for Leipzig with four goals and six assists from his nineteen Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
Leipzig will have the chance to make the deal permanent once the Spaniard has played 12 competitive games for Leipzig—five of those have to be played in the second half of the season.
According to Sport Bild, Angelino’s loan deal could be made a permanent transfer as early as this week which will see Man City receive a fee of €20 million for the left-back.
The report claims that if Angelino features against Augsburg this Friday then the purchase obligation in the players contract will be triggered and Angelino would become a permanent member of Nagelsmann’s squad.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many Man City fans have have expressing their thoughts and opinions.

Only 20M? We should have gotten him back. He’s been outstanding this season. Horrible business

we are absolutely terrible at getting a decent amount for selling players, wonder why our net spend is so low 😭

Then why did pep get Mendy? He’s literally the definition of an out and out left wing back

Do feel sad but wish him all the best. Definitely think we need a LB in the summer to replace Mendy (Zinchenko I think is a great player to keep in the squad)
