Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the club’s interest in ex-United and current Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Citizens are expected to be in the market for a new striker at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, with the club’s all-time leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero potentially leaving on a free transfer.
The Telegraph this week reported that City are prepared to spend £200m in the summer window to improve their squad, and Lukaku has been identified as a potential target in the final third of the field.
According to Italian Journalist Fabio Santini relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City have made a huge offer, both to Inter and the Belgium international.
“Manchester City have presented an offer to Inter equal to €80M for Romelu Lukaku. The English club has instead proposed €15M a season to the Belgian forward. Currently he €10M with the Nerazzurri,” the Italian journalist said.
The 27-year-old has plenty of Premier League experience having spent the majority of his career in England.
Lukaku has scored over 100 league goals in spells at Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and Manchester United.
In reaction to the report shared on twitter by Man City Xtra, many Sky Blues have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

Why Lukaku ? He is Old , heavy, slow . Why don’t buy some younger player ? Let’s think about the future ! Is too much money for a player like lukaku !

No way txiki is breaking his £60 million rule for lukaku. The only way I can see them breaking that is if it’s for a young player like haaland

Id take him, he’s a finisher. Link up with de bruyne aswell…deadly

Well Belgian link-up between lukaku and de bruyne would be very interesting and lukaku can give 4-5 seasons to us… Though this is not happening.

I want Haaland as my number one striker BUT I have said in the past Romelu Lukaku under Guardiola will reach his max potential, I’m all for this signing if we can’t get Braut Haaland
