Angelino is not worried of leaving Manchester City permanently come the end of the season as the Spaniard expects a long-term future at RB Leipzig.
The Citzens took advantage of a buy-back clause to re-sign Angelino, just a year after the Spaniard departed the club for PSV Eindhoven.
Angelino made just 12 appearances, though not playing particularly well in them. The City left-back left England for Leipzig in search of regular game time.
After an impressive spell at Bundesliga, Leipzig signed the City full back on loan for another season after he played a leading role in the German club’s run to the Champions League semifinals.
Leipzig will have the chance to make the deal permanent once the Spaniard has played 12 competitive games for Leipzig—five of those have to be played in the second half of the season.
Angelino, who is enjoying himself on loan at RB Leipzig with five goals already in eleven competitive games so far this season, expects to have a long-term future at the German club.
“I really don’t know for sure, but a few more games need to be played. If everything goes normally, it will happen. In any case, I hope that I’ll be on the pitch for RB Leipzig for a long time to come”. Angelino said as quoted by Sport Witness.

Can only wish him the best. Doesn’t suit our style under Pep but is a regular for Leipzig 👊✌️

Fair enough. He’s better suited to Leipzig’s system than city’s. I hope he does well in his career.💙

I still think there is a place for him, I rate mendy but fitness is always an issue.
