Manchester City fans backed Pep Guardiola to find a way to get his side scoring goals more regularly after an unusually barren start to the season.
Scoring goals has become something of a problem for Guardiola’s side, which is surprising given the abundance of attacking talent at their disposal.
The team has found the target just 10 times through eight top-flight fixtures, with that tally representing a 14-year low – since they mustered only six by the same stage in 2006-07.
Speaking ahead of our Champions League tie with Olympiakos on Wednesday, Guardiola says it’s now up to him to find a tactical solution to make us more fluid in the final third.
“They [the players] are so brave, the reason is the manager. I have to find a way to adapt to the quality we have. I have to adjust something to let them feel we can do something,” he said.
“It’s in my hands. They want to do it. I have to find a way to help them be what we were in previous seasons. We have to find a way. We have enough players to score the goals…”
“Little details we need to improve. But the moment we break these things, we will get better. And the season is so young. I am fully optimistic we will do a good season.”

The season is young??? Is a poor excuse. This team has been extremely embarrassing in front of goal and that’s the best you can up with. This team not winning anything this season. Not even the carabao cup. After losing to Lyon nothing has changed. Same weak mentality.
