Manchester City fans are delighted to see their star man Sergio Aguero’s maintain his record after Everton’s Calvert-Lewin failed to score against Southampton in the premier league yesterday.
Calvert-Lewin has been in prolific form thanks to Carlo Ancelotti’s faith in the striker, who has helped unlock the forward’s potential in the Premier League this season.
The 23-year-old forward, the division’s leading scorer with seven goals could have become the only second player ever, after Sergio Aguero last season, to score in each of his side’s opening six Premier League matches.
But the England man failed to score as Everton crashed to defeat against an impressive Southampton at St Mary’s.
