Manchester City have received a welcome injury boost as Kevin De Bruyne and Aymeric Laporte returned to training on Thursday.
The two City stars are set to return to Premier League action on Saturday, in a meeting with West Ham United after missing the Arsenal and Porto wins.
After first putting Arsenal to the sword in a league clash, City followed up with a 3-1 downing of Portuguese giants Porto in the club’s Champions League opener last night.
A series of photos posted across the club’s social media platforms this afternoon, though, showcased both players in good spirits, alongside the rest of Pep Guardiola’s squad
It appears likely that De Bruyne could return to play at least some part at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon but Guardiola may be reluctant to rush both players back for the trip, especially with a Champions League clash at Marseille following on Tuesday.

Don’t think kevin was “injured” – definitely had some form of burnout. Glad he’s looking better 🥳

I feel like this gives us an advantage over Liverpool, a City that has a fully fit KDB plus Kun, that’s surely an advantage. Provide Laporte is also fit
