Man City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Manchester United had started talks to try and sign Ferran Torres earlier this summer.
The Spaniard signed a five-year contract with the Citizens which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2025 in a deal worth a reported £37m.
According to AS. via Sport Witness, United viewed Ferran Torres, who left Valencia for Manchester City last month, as one of the alternatives to Sancho, who they are facing difficulties to sign because of the €120m asking price set by the German club.
As per the report, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side started talks to try and sign the Spaniard, who was much more affordable than the Dortmund attacker because Torres then had a year left on his contract at Valencia.
In reaction to Sam lee’s claim shared on Twitter by City Chief, Manchester City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
