Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Barcelona are keen to seal the transfer of striker Gabriel Jesus as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
Luis Suarez is on the verge of leaving FC Barcelona as he’s not in the plans of new manager Ronald Koeman. The club is set to rescind his contract, making him a free agent, according to RAC1 and confirmed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The experienced striker has one year left to run on his deal, but Barça will terminate the contract in order to get him off the wage bill, leaving a hole up top at the No. 9 position as Barcelona look set for a giant change.
According to Globoesporte, the La Liga club have already contacted Manchester City to enquire about the possibility of signing Gabriel Jesus to replace Luis Suárez.
The report adds City are willing to transfer Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona within the Lionel Messi operation. A cash sum would also be included in the proposal.
The latest reported transfer news surrounding Gabby has gathered a lot of replies from City fans. In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief and Man City Xtra, the fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
