“Don’t know what to make of this. Certainly hasn’t performed anywhere near the level of last season, and difficult to see him starting every week on current form, particularly if Foden continues improving and we buy another winger. Might make sense all round.”, claimed one fan.
while another asked, “Why are some City fans keen on selling him?Face with monocle Bernado is an asset. There’s a lot that he contributes to this team! He starts for ANY team in the world!”
while another tweeted, “Players have down seasons… Bernardo had one. This isn’t FIFA where we sell a player after a few poor games. He’s part of our long term plans we cannot just ditch him in hopes of signing the next bright and shiny prospect.”
Another tweet said:”I like Bernardo but I get the feeling he would jump at the chance to sign for Barca purely based on how much he complains about the weather in Manchester and I wouldn’t say no either if it meant Messi coming here for a couple of seasons.”.
