Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing Leicester City centre-back Caglar Soyuncu in a surprise move with the defender said to be valued at around €80 million
Soyuncu has filled the void left by Harry Maguire following his switch to Manchester United in the summer of 2019, and his displays have seen him linked with a move to Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona.
City’s need for a centre-half is greater, with Pep Guardiola and the hierarchy having made the position a priority this summer, after the problems encountered in the wake of Vincent Kompany’s retirement this summer.
Pep Guardiola is ready to raid the transfer market in a bid to put Manchester City back on top of the Premier League after failing to keep pace with Jurgen Klopp’s relentless Liverpool this season, seeing the Reds streak to the title with seven games to spare
Manchester City is in dire need of a centre-back capable of filling in the void created by Aymeric Laporte’s injury earlier this season.
According to SozcuSkor via Sport_Witness, Pep Guardiola is keen to sign Caglar Söyüncü, valued by Leicester City at over €80 million, with transfer talks between the two sides set to commence in the near future.
Soyuncu is one of the most wanted and the competition for his signing will arrive sooner or later.

Forget the price, he would be perfect for City. Watch him. Great ball playing center half, very much Pep’s type of player. Can carry the ball out. pic.twitter.com/ZJFhbNyZj9— FIwindex (@FIwindex) July 10, 2020
Do we need to sign two CBs? Laporte, Koulibaly, and Garcia seems like we would be pretty solid at CB.— ViJay Mueller (@ViJayMueller35) July 10, 2020
