‘Good mentality’ – Man City fans react to John Stones’ determination to stay at the Etihad

Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that John Stones is determined to prove his worth to Pep Guardiola and stay at the Etihad despite uncertainty over his future

Guardiola’s defence has proved his side’s weak link at many stages of the season, with injuries to the likes of Aymeric Laporte being compounded by the poor form of defenders such as John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi

According to Jack Gaughan via Daily Mail, John Stones, who has struggled for fitness and form over the past two seasons, is determined to prove his worth to Pep Guardiola and stay at Manchester City.

With his future at the Etihad in doubt, the 26-year-old is set for talks with Guardiola next month.

Why not ? We can sold Otamendi and buy Koulibaly and still keep Stones as second backup. As long as Garcia is the first backup I’m fully ok with this.
