Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Senegalese centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is showing a keen interest in moving to the Etihad.
Koulibaly, who is a genuine target for City this summer has been linked with a move away from Naples for several transfer windows now, after the defender established himself as one of Europe’s most formidable defenders.
Guardiola is desperate to find a reliable centre-back partner for Aymeric Laporte and has identified the 29-year-old as a priority signing.
According to Il Mattino as relayed by CalcioNapoli24, negotiations between Manchester City and Napoli are ongoing.
It is reported that Kalidou Koulibaly himself ‘really likes’ the Premier League side, which could act as a massive signal in where these negotiations could be heading.
Man City fans must be wary of dealing with Napoli after the club lose out on Jorginho to Chelsea two seasons ago having already a verbal agreement for the midfielder.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief and Man City xtra, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

He’d be mad not to join let’s be honest. He knows he’s coming in as a star in a top league for a top club.— City Fan (@ManCity_FanView) July 23, 2020
Cmon @ManCity @PepTeam this is the last piece of the puzzle. A physical strong and ball playing, right footed Player in defense alongside Laporte. A Leader that Kompany had been all the years before. We need him so much to sort out the weak spot : cancelo, laporte, koulibaly, walker— c d (@kledippi) July 23, 2020
Parma beat Napoli yesterday with Kalildou getting a very low rate.I believe he is nit more than £40m . He is overrated. May be he will be next Antonio Rudigar

“Anything more 65m is just too much, considering his age. He’s already 29”, claimed one fan.
while another asked, “Would you pay £65m for VVD the best defender in the prem right now?”
while another tweeted, “Just do it, imagine if Koulibaly can give instant impact like Van Dijk to Liverpool, no matter how much, it will all be worth it”
Another tweet said: “Looks like City offered 60m euro+ 5 bonus and Aurelio wants 75m euro.”
