Manchester City have seen numerous players from their squad feature for their countries in the 2024 European Championship.
With the group stage and knockout round of the tournament now complete, 10 players from City’s squad will be in the quarter-finals.
After Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol failed to help Croatia get out of their group, Kevin De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku were knocked out in Belgium’s knockout stage defeat to France.
Now – however – ahead of the upcoming quarter-final fixtures, one pundit and former City manager has shared his thoughts on what he’s seen from one particular figure from the Manchester club and how he’s fared for his country over the past few weeks.
