Manchester City have expressed interest in Lazio goalkeeper Chrīstos Mandas, who has been impressing with his performances in the Serie A recently. The 22-year-old has filled in for injured Ivan Provedel, keeping four clean sheets and conceding six goals in eight league games. Mandas’ agent confirmed there is interest from abroad, but the player’s preference is to stay at Lazio and potentially sign an extension with the club.

Despite Provedel’s return from injury and expected reclaim of the starting goalkeeper position, Manchester City’s interest in Mandas remains strong. The Citizens are actively scouting promising talents, with the Greek international catching their attention due to his solid displays in goal. Mandas may become Provedel’s deputy if he stays at Lazio, unless irresistible offers materialize from Manchester City or other clubs in the upcoming transfer window.

Although Mandas desires to continue at Lazio, the possibility of a move to Manchester City remains if an appealing offer is presented. Mandas’ future at the Italian club hinges on the strength of interest from the Premier League side and whether or not they submit a compelling offer to acquire his services. However, for now, the young goalkeeper is focused on maintaining his form and securing his spot in Lazio’s squad.
