Manchester City legend reveals Chelsea transfer interest and Frank Lampard involvement in discussions

In 2009, Chelsea had the opportunity to sign Sergio Aguero, who was playing for Atletico Madrid. Aguero made a mark during a UEFA Champions League match against Chelsea, prompting interest from the Blues. Frank Lampard, who played for Chelsea and later for Manchester City, encouraged the club to sign Aguero.
