Erling Haaland Predicted To Humiliate This Man Utd Player

Manchester United player Casemiro has been told that he got no chance against Erling Haaland if Erik ten Hag plays him in defence because the Norwegian striker will humiliate him and the Red Devils will lose the final.

Manchester City for the second consecutive time will face their local rivals Manchester United in the Emirate FA Cup final to end the 2023/24 season.

While Pep Guardiola’s side continue to dominate the English top-flight league by winning the Premier League title for the fourth consecutive time, the Red Devils continue to struggle as they finished 8th in the league.

Therefore, Man City are the favourites to add the FA Cup to their trophy collection, but Paul Merson believes Manchester United will only stand a chance of winning the trophy if Ten Hag did not start Casemiro as a centre-back.

“If Casemiro starts at the back again, don’t worry about tactics, don’t worry about counter-attacking football, don’t worry about anything – they’ll be destroyed,” he said in his latest Merson Says via Sky Sports.

He said Casemiro is undoubtedly a very good and experienced player, but he cannot play at the back against the free flowing Manchester City’s attack, particularly being given the responsibility to face Erling Haaland.

“He cannot play there, he’s not a centre-back, especially against one of the best in the business – that’s an absolute no-go. They need to get someone fit, or come up with a different plan. With that plan, there’s only one outcome.

“He’s a midfielder, he’s been a top-top midfielder, but don’t ask him to go up against Erling Haaland. He’s got no chance.”

A victory for Pep Guardiola’s team will complete their remarkable season, with the FA Cup becoming the fourth accolade they have secured this season, following their league title, the FIFA Club World Cup, and the UEFA Super Cup.
