An update on Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and John Stones’ injuries shows that Manchester City may be without some key players for their upcoming Premier League match against Brighton on Thursday. While John Stones has returned to training and could potentially play, others are still out.

Manchester City are in the running for another league title with only six matches left in the season. Winning each of these matches would secure their fourth consecutive league title, with Arsenal and Liverpool trailing behind in second and third place.

However, a draw or loss in any of the upcoming matches could jeopardize City’s chance of making history by winning four titles in a row. Pep Guardiola is keen to have his full squad available for the match against Brighton and Hove Albion on Thursday.

Unfortunately, Erling Haaland may be unavailable for the game. The Norwegian striker did not travel with the squad to Wembley Stadium last weekend and has been absent from training. He last played in the UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid but had to be substituted due to injury.

“He’s injured. I don’t think it’s much but he’s not able for today,” said Pep Guardiola when asked about Haaland’s availability against Chelsea last weekend.

It appears that Haaland is still not ready to return, as he was absent from training on Tuesday along with Phil Foden. Foden, who missed out on training, is a key player for City and Guardiola will be hoping to avoid losing him to injury during this crucial part of the season.

In more positive news, John Stones has returned to training after being subbed off in the match against Chelsea. Despite ongoing injury concerns, Stones took part in Tuesday’s training session.
