Chelsea are considering making a bid for Manchester City’s Jack Grealish for a potential summer transfer. Grealish has reportedly been internally discussed as a potential target by Chelsea, with the belief that the 28-year-old may be available for transfer due to his bit-part role at City and his desire for a more important role at another club. Grealish has also been linked with a return to Aston Villa, his former club, in recent weeks.
Grealish has struggled with form and injury during this season, raising questions about his future at Manchester City. Despite making 35 appearances in all competitions, he has only started 10 league games and has struggled to make a significant impact on the pitch with just 3 goals and 3 assists to his name. Manager Pep Guardiola has continued to show faith in Grealish, starting him in important matches such as the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid, but his performances have not matched expectations.
City’s interest in Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala could potentially lead to Grealish being sold to make room for other signings. If Musiala becomes available, it is speculated that Grealish could be the one to make way for the German international. However, whether Manchester City would be willing to sell Grealish to Chelsea remains uncertain.
